Q:
My Cakewalk is giving a "CWHS has caused an invalid page fault in module MFC42.DLL and will be shut down" How do I fix this?
A:
1) Choose Start | Run, and type regedit. Click OK.
2) Create a backup of your registry by going to Registry | Export Registry File, and choose a filename & location (we suggest using your desktop and backup as a filename) 3) Clicking the plus signs next to each folder, follow the path below: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Cakewalk Music Software/Cakewalk Hpme Studio/2002.1 4) Delete all folders labeled Toolbar. DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING ELSE! 5) Close the Registry Editor, and restart your computer.
