Select the part or parts. Go to the master mixer Panels>Master Mixer and click on the export audio button or File>Export>Audio Tracks to bring up the export audio dialog box. Create a name for the file, i.e. vocalfx. Enable the button for selected parts. Leave the import options to pool and audio track turned on to place the file in the same time position in the song. The original file is still present.
