Q:
When I am mixing the response seems a little delayed why is that?
A:
This delay is referred to as latency. You should switch over to the ASIO driver for your audio card, Options>Audio Setup>System>ASIO Device. If you are using the ASIO driver go into the control panel and adjust the buffer size. The smaller the buffer size the smaller the latency. Lower buffer settings will place more strain on processing so everyone’s setup may vary depending upon the computer.
