How can I find out the tempo of a loop in Cubase VST?
A:
Open up the loop in the audio editor and select it. Drag across the above the waveform in the time range to fit 4 or 8 beats depending upon the length o the loop. From the do submenu select fit event to loop range. A window will appear asking if you want to change tempo or audio. The tempo will calculate the tempo of the loop whereas audio will time stretch the audio to fit in time.
