1.Choose the location that you would like to create the marker at.Use the Selector Tool if you like to insert the blinking line at the location.

2.Now press the "enter" key on your Numeric keypad on the Mac keyboard.

3.You will get the Marker screen.Here you can rename the Marker or delete other Markers.

4.The markers are created sequentially . The first Marker you create will respond to the following entry " .1. " The Second Marker you create will respond to .. " .2. " and so on.These are made on the NUMERIC Keypad. Not the regular Keypad.

5.See your ProTools manual for different modes to which you can recall a location .
