How come I cant record to my brand new PS02? It says I don't have enough...

How come I cant record to my brand new PS02? It says I don't have enough room on the Smart Media Card.

The Smart Media card that comes with the PS02 is 8 Megs.It also contains the Demo songs and setups. Zoom recommends a 32 Meg minimum Smart Media Card to record to.
