How Do I Format a Disk?

When you use a new disk you will have to format it before it can be used with the XP-60/80. You can also format a disk if you want to erase the disk:

Warning! This procedure will erase all contents of the disk!

1. Press DISK.
2. Press F3 [Format] and use the CURSOR buttons and the VALUE dial to name the disk.
3. Press F6 [Execute].
4. Press F5 [OK], then press EXIT.
