Why doesn't Cakewalk7 audition the whole selection on PC?

Cakewalk 7.0 and earlier does not allow you to change the audition time. Cakewalk 8.0 and Pro Audio 9 allows you to change this time. The setting can be changed from Cakewalk's Global settings under the Options menu.
