Q:
Q: Whenever I start Reaktor I get the message: "invalid paths for the macro library and the instrument library. Please enter valid paths in System -> Preferences -> Directories."
A:
A: For having direct access to the macro and instrument library in a Reaktor structure window using the right mouse button (Mac: Ctrl + Mouse button) you have to advise Reaktor under which paths on your hard disk it can find the instruments and macros. You can enter the path under System -> Preferences -> Directories. Per default the instruments are located in a folder called "instruments" under C:/Program Files/Native Instruments/Reaktor 3.0/Library/Essentials/Instruments/ (resp. the macro
folder under C:/Program Files/Native Instruments/Reaktor 3.0/Library/Essentials/Macros/), but the path may very on your computer.
