How to Load Data from a SCSI Device
A:
Use the following procedure to load a Patch from an external SCSI device:
1. Turn the power on for all devices in your SCSI chain (the DJ-70MKII should be powered on last). 2. Press DISK so it is lit . 3. Press F3 (Load A/B). 4. Use the CURSOR buttons to highlight "SCSI" and press S1. 5. Use the CURSOR buttons to highlight the ID number (to the left of the equal sign) of the drive containing the data you wish to load and press S1. 6. Use the CURSOR buttons to highlight "Target" and use the VALUE dial to select "Patch" (other options are Volume, Performance, Partial, Sample, Partial PRM, Patch PRM, Performance PRM, and Song). 7. Use the CURSOR buttons to highlight the desired Patch and press S1. The DJ-70MKII will begin loading that Patch as well as the Partial and Sample data associated with that Patch.
