Can I use the d8b as a control surface for my sequencing software (Logic, Digital Performer, Cakewalk, Cubase, etc)? Can control faders on my computer with d8b faders?
A:
NO. The Digital 8 Bus is NOT a control surface.
The midi ports on the d8b are only for sending MMC various stand alone recorders (da88, MDR, etc) and receiving MTC for automation.
