Transmitting Arpeggio Data via MIDI in Voice Mode on an S80
A:
1) Press the [VOICE] button to select an Arpeggiated Voice.
2) Press the [UTILITY] button. 3) Turn the (PAGE) knob to select the 'MIDI Arp' page. 4) Turn the (1) knob to enable (turn ON) the output of Arpeggiator data via MIDI. 5) Turn the (2) knob to select the MIDI channel on which Arpeggio data will be sent. NOTE: If it is desired to prevent an external MIDI Tone Generator from changing sounds when selecting Arpeggiated Voices on the S80, then Transmission/Reception of Bank and Program Changes must be disabled. Disabling Transmission/Reception of Bank and Program Changes: 1) Press the [UTILITY] button. 2) Turn the (PAGE) knob to select the 'MIDI Sw' page. 3) Turn the (C) knob to turn Bank Select OFF. 4) Turn the (1) knob to turn Program Change OFF.
