Q:
How can I see if a program is using my Aardvark Directpro 24/96 or LX6's outputs?
A:
Go into the Directpro Manager, go to Advanced, Software, and it will display 3 pairs of inputs and 3 pairs of outputs which will either be active or idle. If a program is actively holding onto an input or output, this will reflect it. This is good for troubleshooting whether a program has lost communication to your Aardvark. Some programs like 2-track editors release the drivers (make them idle) when recording or playback is stopped, but any ASIO program and most software synths will keep the in/output active.
