Why is the right output of my PCM81 louder than the left output?
A:
There is a slight precedence effect in the PCM81 which causes one of the inputs to seem slightly more prominent, but this varies quite a bit from setting to setting, and with the type of program material. Tweak the return level on one side to compensate.
