Q:
How can I use my VST plugins and instruments in my DirectX plugin environment such as Sound Forge, Sonar, Cakewalk, or Cool Edit?
A:
There are several VST to DirectX wrappers available from the internet. One which has been found to work quite well in most situations is located at fxpansion.com There is a downloadable demo which will allow you to test the compatability on your system, and then you can purchase the full version on the same site. There are two flavors: The less expensive gives only support for VST plugins, while the other one gives support for both VST plugins and VST instruments for use with Sonar.
