Q:
What's up with Aardvark and when are drivers scheduled for release? NOT FOR PUBLIC DISPLAY
A:
** This is NOT public information, for internal TS use and knowledge ONLY. Please don't quote any of this info to customers unless you are very vague.
Eryk Lovell from Aardvark was here, talking about roadmaps for release of drivers, etc. ASIO USB3 driver does that, he’s emailing me the newest when he gets back to Ann Arbor. Talked about Win2k/XP drivers (available on a pre-release program, not the same as the beta program, users must NOT have installed beta drivers for 2k/XP or it won’t work- uninstall is a big problem, also ONLY works for directpro24/96, LX6, Q10). Drivers should be out soon- MME drivers are faster than WDM- MME is 3-6ms latency for Cakewalk (WoW!) WDM, GSIF will come later. Win98/ME redesigned drivers will also come later. Over the summer, they are planning on redesigning ASIO driver, also adding Emagic EASI driver. USB3 ASIO driver is very close to release, Propagamma will be adding a middle latency setting (4,15,60ms) but drivers should be just click & install. NOT FOR PUBLIC DISPLAY
