Q:
Why isn't D-Verb available in my Audiosuite / RTAS Plug-Ins list in Pro Tools LE?
A:
Installing the D-Verb Plug-In is a two part process. The D-Verb Plug-In software must be installed from the Pro-Tools LE Installer CD and authorized with the D-Verb Authorization Floppy Disk. To Install the D-Verb Plug-In:
* Insert the Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 for Windows CD into the CD-ROM Drive. Double-Click "My Computer" on the Desktop and choose Pro-Tools LE Installer > Digidesign Plug-In Demos > D-Verb Setup to launch the D-Verb Installer. * After completing the D-Verb Install Wizard, restart the computer and launch Pro-Tools LE from the Desktop Icon. * When the "Welcome to D-Verb" dialog appears, choose "Next" to permanently authorize the D-Verb Plug-In. Select the destination hard drive for the D-Verb Authorization Key (Windows System Disk) and choose "Next." Insert the D-Verb Authorizer Floppy into the floppy drive and choose "OK." The computer will download the D-Verb authorization key to your hard drive. Click "Finish" to complete the D-Verb authorization process.
