Q:
Why does Pro Tools give me a "Could not allocate space for recording" error when I try to record in Windows 98se with my Dell Optiplex 240?
A:
In one instance, it was a motherboard incompatibility, even though it is the Intel 845 chipset. Once the motherboard was replaced by a similar model, the system worked.
