Description:
Performing the function "update file information" in the Audio Window causes all Audio instruments to fall silent while the level meters are still showing the peaks.

Explanation:
Emagic has been able to reproduce the problem.

Suggestion:
Reinitializing the hardware in the menu Audio > Audio Hardware & Drivers makes the Audio Instruments available again.

Solution:
Emagic is investigating the problem.
