How can I get Cakewalk or Sonar to not reset my keyboard's patch settings when it starts playing?

Go to Options - Project - Midi Out. Uncheck both Zero Controllers and Patch/Controller Searchback, hit OK. This should stop Cakewalk or Sonar from sending patch changes at the start of playback or recording, but will allow patch changes, if any, within the song.
