Q:
DATA WILL NOT SAVE PROPERLY ON A PSR1000/2000
A:
The Internal RAM Memory in the PSR1000/2000 is "volatile." Any user-stored data in this memory location such as Songs, Styles, System Setup data, Music Database information, etc. must be backed up to floppy disk, if the unit will be unplugged from an AC outlet for more than a week. If the unit is left unplugged for over a week, the data may be lost.
Another way that data may be lost, is if the storing procedure for System Setup data is performed incorrectly; on the PSR1000/2000, if a user changes the settings in a screen, they must remember to press the [EXIT] button afterward, before turning OFF the power, or the data is lost.
