Q:
How do I get my sustain pedal to work correctly on my Kurzweil PC88? It is currently working backwards- sustaining when I don't press the pedal and releasing when I do press the pedal.
A:
The PC88 will auto-detect your pedal type at power-on. Make sure to always have the pedal plugged in at power-on (and don't press the pedal until the keyboard is initialized), and it will figure out if it is a normally-on pedal or a normally-off pedal.
