Q:
Q:Is it possible to remotely control the DR8/DR16?
A:
A: Yes. The DR8/DR16 can be controller remotely by using any device that supports MIDI Machine Control (MMC). If all you need is a small transport remote, check out the MCS from J.L. Cooper Electronics. They offer an MMC version that is preprogrammed to allow DR8 locating and track-arming as well as transport control. They also the offer the CuePoint, which provides a more comprehensive solution including access to track arming, locating, etc.
