What is the Aardvark Aark24's Generate MTC option for? Does the Aark24 generate midi time code?
 
A:
This option switches the Midi port for the Aark24 between the standard Midi jacks and 9-pin Adat sync. They cannot be used simultaneously. The midi port in Windows will not appear to change - it will still show the Aardvark Midi in/out but if it is selected as Generate MTC, the only midi activity will be Midi Time Code and Midi Machine Control from the Adat 9-pin sync cable.
