Q:
I always have slight reverb on all voices, usually set to 12. Is it normal?
A:
The default Mix setting has the reverb send on each Part in a Mix set to 12. You can create it your own default using the Templates. Every Song or Pattern has a Mix. Mix Templates are 16 separate Mixes that are stored separately and are not ties directly to any Song or Pattern. Set up a Mix the way you like it as a starting point for your music.
Press F5 Template. You can select from 16 Templates. Select one you don't think you'll need (there are Templates for different styles of music in the factory installed templates). You can cursor into the Template Name field and name your template if you like. Then press SF5 Put. This will Put the current Mix settings into the Template you selected. Next time you want to start song or pattern, go to Template, select your startup template and press Put. This will put the Template to the current mix. Templates are stored in static RAM so they remain in memory after power off and get stored and loaded externally with an ALL file.
