Q:
I am using an IDE drive with my AdatEdit. When transferring from ADAT, I get clicks and pops and dropouts. What's wrong?
A:
Go into START / SETTINGS / CONTROL PANEL / SYSTEM / DEVICE MANAGER. Double click on DISK DRIVES. Double click on the IDE drive you are using. Click on the SETTINGS tab. Select the box that says DMA. Click "OK". You'll need to restart Windows to have the change take effect.
