Q:
How to make a tempo changes.
A:
Tempo Changes
Since you may not want a constant tempo throughout all your songs, the XP-50 allows you to enter tempo changes at any location within a song. 1) Press MICROSCOPE. 2) Make sure that EDIT is not lit and press TEMPO/BEAT TRACK. 3) Cursor to Tempo Change and select the measure where the new tempo should begin. 4) Press EDIT so that it is lit, then press CREATE. 5) Cursor to Tempo and use the Alpha-dial or numeric keypad and enter to select a new tempo. 6) Press SEQUENCER to return to the Sequencer display. Note: It is also possible to record tempo changes in real-time, which is useful for creating effects such as accelerandos and ritards. From the Sequencer display, press REC the press TEMPO/BEAT to select the Tempo Track for recording. When you start recording, use the Alpha-dial to speed up or slow down the tempo. The changes you make will be recorded on the Tempo Track.
