I have my audio or midi device on an IRQ higher than 15 and it is not working in Windows 2000 or XP, what can I do?
A:
Some motherboards do not fully support IRQs higher than 0 - 15, but emulate them because of ACPI mode. If this is the case, you may need to disable ACPI mode in Windows. See our article under keyword ACPI 2000 or ACPI XP for steps to disable this Windows IRQ assignment mode.
