Instructions for configuring Cubase and OMS.

A. Setting up OMS
1. Install OMS 2.3.8 _first_ , and restart the computer. 3. Install Midi interface driver if not included as a part of OMS. 2. Launch OMS Setup 4. Follow the steps to create an OMS Setup * at the "OMS Driver Search" page, be sure NOT to check modem or printer, unless your interface is connected to a serial port. Click SEARCH, and be sure that OMS automatically detects the MIDI interface. 5. Complete your OMS Setup by adding MIDI devices (STUDIO menu, NEW device), and specifying which port they're attached to. B. Setting up Cubase 1. From the Options menu, MIDI Setup, choose System. Configure Cubase to use OMS for input and output under OMS Compabtibility. 2. In the same window, under the "Input From" menu, enabe the MIDI inputs that you would like Cubase to access. 3. In your Arrange window, now choose the MIDI ouput that you would like to assign a track to.
