Q:
When trying to burn a session from Pro Tools LE (Digi001 in Windows) to a CD, an error comes up and says I don't have access to the files, check with the owner. What is going on?
A:
You probably still have Pro Tools open while trying to burn. Pro Tools has locked you out of the files it is currently using as a safety precaution so the files are not altered without Pro Tools knowing about it. Simply shut down Pro Tools, and you should be able to access and burn the session files with no problems. Remember to burn all of the files, including the .pts file (reel icon) and the audio and fade files folders.
