Q:
Why are my Pro Tools Digi001 audio files saving to the wrong folder- not what I specified?
 
A:
A custom disk allocation scheme has most likely been setup.

Go to Setups - Disk Allocation, and uncheck Custom Allocation, uncheck Round Robin.
