Q:
How should I configure wide and narrow devices on the ATTO SCSI bus?
A:
It is recommended to place narrow devices after wide devices on a wide SCSI bus. Or if your configuration permits, you can place the narrow devices on one SCSI bus and wide devices on the other.
If you decide to connect narrow devices after wide devices, we recommend you use the Glyph Technologies High-9 adapter between wide and narrow devices. This prevents performance of the wide devices from being compromised by the slower speed of the narrow devices.
