Q:
whenever I try and launch the ASIO driver for the RME card it says "it cannot find... cannot intialize ASIO"
A:
Per Steinberg, when you purchase any of the RME hammerfall cards, they are sent from the factory as a WINDOWS card. There is an EPROM on the card that says "W52".
Pop that eprom off and replace it with the "M52" eprom and your card should recognize...
