Q:
How do you assign loops to track buttons on a BR1180CD?
A:
You can use the Track Buttons to fly loops right into the Rhythm guide. This is a very fast and easy way to build your own drum tracks based on song structure. First, assign different loop phrases to the Track Buttons.
1. Press LOOP PHRASE IMPORT. 2. Cursor to "BUTTON ASSIGN" and press ENTER. 3. Then cursor to "---" and use the dial to change this to "A005" for the INTRO. 4. Continue to assign the loops to different Track buttons as follows: Tr: 1 A005 INTRO Tr: 2 A006 VERSE Tr: 3 A004 FILL Tr: 4 A002 BRIDGE Tr: 5 A001 BREAK Tr: 6 A003 END CRASH 5. To hear a loop, simply press the TRACK button under each fader. Press the button again to stop the loop.
