When I load my DP3 installer CD it takes 2 or 3 minutes to mount on the desktop, then it won't install, because the G4 says "it cannot be found".

Digital Performer 3 (3.02) cannot be installed when OSX (OS 10) is running. Use Startup Disk to boot into OS9.
