Q:
How can I import patch names / instrument definitions into Steinberg CubaseSX?
A:
Go to Devices - Midi Device Manager - Install Device, and choose from the list. Then, once selected, you can assign it to a specific port where your keyboard / module is connected.
If CubaseSX does not contain instrument definitions for your keyboard, you can search the internet for a user-created one or create your own. You can download a free utility to setup your own instrument patch lists at: service.steinberg.de
