Q:
What is the maximum number of 192 I/Os or 96 I/Os I can have attached to my HD system?
A:
You can have a maximum of eight 192 I/Os, or six 96 I/Os attached to an HD system. If you are combining 192 I/Os and 96 I/Os on the same system, the total maximum is eight, and the 192 I/Os should come first. Keep in mind, there is a maximum of two I/Os per HD Card, so you would need at least one HD Core plus three HD Process Cards in order to attach eight I/Os.
