Q:
Is it possible to set the input signal gain for the optional cards (MY8-AD, MY4-AD, etc.)?
A:
The MY4-AD has three selectable gain stages and the MY8-AD has two, which can be easily changed by setting the DIP switches on the expansion card. The default gain setting is +24dB (Nominal: +10dB / Max. before clipping: +24dB). For some circumstances, the gain can be set to +18dB (MY4-AD only; Nominal: +4dB / Max. before clipping: +18dB) or, for low-output devices, +4dB (Nominal: -10dBV / Max. before clipping: +4dBV). For most situations, we recommend setting the gain to +24dB for +4dB sources and +4dBV for - 10dBV sources
