Q:
How do I edit the pattern track of a song on my QY100?
A:
The Pattern Track can be edited in a similar manner as step recording. All Pattern/Section entries at specific measures can be changed or erased as desired.
Editing the Pattern Track: 1) Press the [SONG] button until the main Song screen is displayed. The word 'SONG' will appear in the top left corner. 2) If necessary, use the Cursor buttons in the upper-right side of the unit to highlight the Song number at the top of the display. 3) Use the [-1/NO] or [+1/YES] button to select the desired Song location. 4) Use the Cursor buttons to highlight 'Pt' (Pattern Track). 5) Press the [MENU] button. 6) Press the [F3] Function button to select 'EDIT'. The unit will now display the Pattern/Section entry screen. 7) Make all desired changes and/or additions to the Pattern Track. NOTE: A Pattern/Section can be erased by first highlighting the desired entry and then pressing the top [F1] 'Function' button next to 'ers>' on the display. 8) Press the [EXIT] button when editing is completed.
