Q:
How do I configure my CS6X for multi-track recording?
A:
Configuring the CS6X for Multi-Track Recording
To perform Multi-Track Sequencing, the CS6X must be in Performance Mode. It is recommended that a new "Sequence" Performance be created for use in Sequencing, allowing all 16 Parts to be used independently. In this scenario, all Parameters, such as Voice, Volume, Effects Settings, etc., must be configured by the controlling Sequencer. Initializing and Storing a Performance Memory: 1) Press the [PERFORM] button. 2) Press the [JOB] button. 3) Turn the (PAGE) knob to select the 'PFM Initialize' screen. 4) Turn the (C) knob to select 'Current Perform'. 5) Press the [ENTER] button. 6) Press the [INC/YES] button. The screen will briefly display 'Completed'. 7) Press the [STORE] button. 8) Turning the (1) 'Voice Memory' and (2) 'Voice Number' knobs , select the destination of the newly created Performance Memory. 9) Press the [ENTER] button. 10) Press the [INC/YES] button. TIP: For future Sequencing sessions, simply enter Performance Mode and select the "Sequence" Performance Memory.
