Pro Audio Support

Q:
How can I capture audio from my stereo and record it to a CD?

A:
This information applies to Toast 4.x Deluxe - CD Spin Doctor, and Toast 5.x Titanium - CD Spin Doctor on Mac OS 8.6, Mac OS 9.X, Mac OS 10.X

CD Spin Doctor allows you to convert your records (LPs), cassette tapes, or other analog audio into digitized audio files you can record on a CD to play on your home or car stereo. Spin Doctor uses the Toast application to record digitized audio onto CDs. CD Spin Doctor also enables you to:

-Define, name, and rearrange tracks
-Preview your filter settings in real time
-Drag and drop AIFF files onto Toast or the desktop

Note: CD Spin Doctor does not work well with Virtual Memory turned on in OS 8.X or 9.X. Also, it is not necessary to change the memory allotment for CD Spin Doctor (using the Get Info window). Memory allocated beyond the default will not be used.
