Why is my DVD-RAM drive not detected as a recorder in Toast?

This information applies to t Toast Titanium 5.X on the following Operating System(s): Mac OS 8.6, Mac OS 9.X
There are a few reasons why your DVD-RAM drive may not be detected in Toast. 1. You must be using Toast 5 or higher. 2. Toast only supports the built in DVD-RAM drives from Apple 3. Toast will not see a DVD-RAM drive in the same way it sees a CD-recorder. To see the DVD-RAM drive: a. You must be in the DVD format in Toast b. Go to file menu. c. Choose "Write to DVD-RAM" You should now be able to write to your DVD-RAM drive.
