Q:
Under Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) Logic offers only 2 inputs and 2 outputs for the EMI. Under OS 9.x all inputs and outputs are available.
A:
Explanation:
In Jaguar there is an Application called "Audio MIDI Setup" (/Applications/Utilities), that handles all audio devices. After rebooting the computer the EMI is set to 2 in / 2 out, regardless to what it was set to before. Suggestion: Please start the "Audio MIDI Setup" and set the EMI to the desired number of inputs and outputs before you start Logic.
