To Reinitialize the unit, do the following:
with the power off...
1.Hold both MASTER & EDIT buttons down and turn on the POWER at the same time. The unit should no be booted up in a DIAGNOSTIC test menu.
2.Let go of the MASTER & EDIT buttons...Turn the DATA WHEEL to the right until you see INITIALIZE as the menu choice.
3.Press the ENTER button twice.
4.Turn off the POWER.
5.Wait a moment then turn on the POWER normally.
NOTE: REINITIALIZING THE UNIT ERASES ALL YOUR RAM. YOU WILL NEED TO BACK UP FIRST OR DOWNLOAD THE FACTORY PRESET DATA AT: emu.com

You can download the files and the sysex dump utilities at: www.emu.com You have the choice of
'Factory Preset Downloads for Macintosh'
or
'Factory Preset Downloads for PC'
You need to download the 'DOWNLOAD UTILITY' and 'README' files. Then scroll down and download the appropriate preset data file.
NOTE: If you have a PC computer and CAKEWALK you can simply send the data files through CAKEWALK's Sysex utility. In Cakewalk's Sysex View window search for 'ALL FILES *.*' and choose
the .emu file.
