Q:
I can only record 2 inputs at a time in Cubase
A:
1) Launch Cubase, then go to the PANELS menu > VST inputs.
2) There, you will see all the possible inputs that can be enabled. If you are using Sound manager you will only see 2. If you are using a multiple input device like the 828, you will probably see 8 - 10 inputs - SPECIAL NOTE: Only the ones that are lit GREEN are active. 3) Enable all the inputs that you require by clicking on the input in-between and turning it GREEN. Once you've done that close the window. 4) Go back to PANELS menu again > VST CHANNEL mixer. 5) Once this launches, you will see all of your faders with Mutes and Solos. If you follow to the top of each fader you will see a little white box that says, "IN 1 L" or "IN 1 R". The 1st 2 tracks should correspond accordingly as track 1 / In 1 L....track 2 / In 1 R. Now go to track 3 6) Click your mouse on the letter L of the "In 1 L" above track 3. This will reveal all the other inputs that are possible. Please choose "IN 2 L" 7) Go to track 4 and use the same procedure but choose "IN 2 R". You can continue this procedure all the way down the row of faders until you run out of inputs, therefore giving each of your inputs a corresponding track. 8) Now go back to your arrange page and you should be able to enable all the inputs that you have just set up.... |
