What kind of RAM does hte Akai S6000 use?
A:
The S6000 - uses standard 72 pin simm chips - SIMM4Q, SIMM16Q, SIMM32Q, and SIMM64Q - 8 meg stock soldered on mother board. Has four simms slots . Simms can be installed in singles - you lose the 8 meg on the mother board when you install 4 SIMMs.
No 8X 16 type Simms- 4X16 and 16X16 only - When installing start in Slot 4 -
