How many Roland RPC1 or DeltaRBUS cards can I use in my PC Windows system at one time?
A:
You can theoretically use up to 4 RPC1 or DeltaRBUS cards in one system at a time, assuming there are adequate resources available. Roland recommends using only up to 3 due to resources that are typically available on a system. They will need to be sync'd either externally from the Rbus or internally via internal connectors.
This applies to Windows 98se, ME, and XP, and 2000 (see note below). Please note Windows 2000 has a limitation of 24 audio tracks when using WDM or MME. ASIO does not have this limitation.
