Q:
Memory uprade for the Roladn S760
A:
The S760 uses 72 pin SIMM8Q and SIMM16Q @80ns or faster. 2Mb stock (soldered on logic board). Unit has 2 SIMM sockets total ; can be expanded to 32Mb via (2) SIMM16Q chips. SIMMs can be installed one at a time and you can mix SIMM types (eg: one SIMM8R and one SIMM16Q ). You CANNOT, however, install 2 8Mb simms so there is no 16MB configuration possible. When two SIMMs are installed the 2Mb on the logic board is disabled.
