Can I use the Roland VM7100 built-in 25-pin RBUS port to connect to an RPC1 or VS-series HD recorder?
A:
No, you will need to get the VM24E expansion board. The built-in RBUS port is only for connecting another processor to the VM7100. After installing the VM24E, you may need to upgrade your 7100's OS via MIDI file update from Roland's website.
