Q:
When I choose the UA-1A for my input in Mac OS9's Sound Manager, my Mac speakers no longer work.
A:
Once the UA-1A is chosen as the input for Sound Manager, the Mac's built-in sound is routed to the UA-1A's outputs only. This means the Mac speaker (and its sound out jack) will be muted. Connect speakers to the UA-1A's output to hear the Mac System sounds, CDs, etc.
